It all started on a humanitarian trip to Bali, Indonesia in 2008 when Suzanne was inspired to partner with local artisans to create modern home goods using their traditional crafts which in turn provides sustainable income for their families and community.
Every product is slowly made by hand with decades-long tradition passed down through generations. Village Thrive is mindful of not only the beauty of the craft but also the functionality of its products and the sustainability of the materials. Natural materials are used such as organic cotton, rattan, bamboo, straw, wood, clay, and leather.
The team visits the production locations and meets with the artisans to ensure that all working environments are safe and healthy.
Village Thrive, we are glad to be a part of your "full circle movement". From sustainable materials, safe working environments for artisans, keeping traditions to "thoughtful consumption", we raise our glass and cheer you on!
